Daily Horoscope: February 10th - 16th 2025

Writer: Joe G. SantosJoe G. Santos

Here are the horoscopes for the second week of February! This time around we're focusing on the Leo Full Moon, Mars arriving at his station degree & Mercury entering Pisces.

Monday, February 10th: The Last Performance

Our week opens with the Leo Moon waxing its way toward the Full Moon. It's a day for optimism that promotes creativity and provides the tools for executing a grand finale. Despite the lunation cycle feeling exhausting, today's transit encourages pushing through with determined exuberance.

Difficulty: 2.5 Utility: 4

Signs of Focus: Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Pisces

Tuesday, February 11th: Almost There

Tuesday falls under Mars' influence, highlighting a sense of culmination. A Full Moon illuminates Mars' journey toward finally stationing direct. This day encourages us to catch a deep breath and prepare for forward momentum. Although Mars has been retrograde, there's light shining on the path, bringing clarity to our actions.

Difficulty: 2.5 Utility: 2.5

Signs of Focus: Aries, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius

Wednesday, February 12th: 2nd Place

Midweek, Mercury finds itself overshadowed by Lady Moon, who struts through in her Leonine glory. Mercury, positioned out of perceptible range of the Moon in Virgo, might feel like it's playing second fiddle. Today might be a day to learn the art of being a gracious competitor. Embrace the skills learned, even if you only land 2nd place.

Difficulty: 3.5 Utility: 2

Signs of Focus: Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Aquarius

Thursday, February 13th: Does Anyone Work Here?

Jupiter in Gemini bumps against an unhelpful Moon in Virgo. Today you might be spinning your wheels, but the real lesson is in recognizing that it's best to wait for someone who's got the answers than to take advice from the second best option (or worse).

Difficulty: 2.5 Utility: 2.5

Signs of Focus: Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces

Friday, February 14th: Brat, but it's Out of Season

As we move towards the weekend, Venus engages in playful excess in Aries, spurred by an illusory Jupiter sextile. It’s a day that could be masking deeper restlessness with revelry, suggesting indulgence without clarity. Consider whether your festivities are attempts to distract from inner dialogues, and remember to party mindfully.

Difficulty: 2 Utility: 2

Signs of Focus: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius, Pisces

Saturday, February 15th: Saturn's Soup Kitchen

Saturn’s moves in Pisces signal a slow march toward new territory. The Moon's presence in Saturn's antiscia offers balance and introspection. It's a suitable day for thinking really deeply and some productive self-care. The time for action will come (and rather quickly), but that day is not today.

Difficulty: 2 Utility: 2

Signs of Focus: Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces

Sunday, February 16th: Don't Forget Your Jacket

Sunday brings the Sun near the cusp of Pisces, finally supported by a harmonious trine from the Moon. Even in detriment, this makeshift support ushers the Sun out of Aquarius, suggesting we prepare for yet-unknown, but symbolically significant, transitions. It’s a reminder that while difficult times may loom, help is never far off.

Most Important Day for Your Rising Sign

Aries Rising: Tuesday & Friday

Mars is the planet that represents you in the sky, whereas Venus is the one that represents your partners. As these two planets get ready to swap retrogrades, it might be important to pay attention to the care dynamics in your relationships. If your partner has been helping keep things afloat while you were having a hard time, now these roles are likely to be reversed. Get ready to pay back some favors as the weeks progress.

Taurus Rising: Friday

This Friday's bratty Venus is likely to have a strong influence on you. As mentioned in previous weeks, Venus is going through a place in your chart where she's likely to entice you to lean on some of your fun, yet dangerous habits. This is an important week to look at balancing responsibility and pleasure; otherwise, your body might begin to struggle to keep up with some hedonistic tendencies.

Gemini Rising: Wednesday

For you, this Wednesday transit is not nearly as dramatic as it may sound. Gemini is very good at brushing off a loss if the game was worth the play. It's likely that for you, the learning experience really is the bigger prize. However, it's important to integrate some of what you learned into your daily practice. This commitment will be a useful anchor as things get a little murkier in the coming weeks.

Cancer Rising: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

In this week's horoscope, I talk about how the Moon is somehow cramping Mercury and Jupiter's style throughout the week. The main reason for this is that the Moon (who's the planet that represents you in the sky) is trying to manage things that she may not be entirely suited to. While your knowledge and skillset are valuable (especially this week), be careful not to let the victories the Full Moon brings get to your head.

Leo Rising: Monday & Sunday

The Full Moon is happening in your own sign, which bodes well for bringing attention to anything that you may be doing. This can be great, especially considering that the Moon also represents a helpful person coming to your aid on Sunday (likely someone who's impressed by your expertise). Still, with such emphasis on attention, it's good to err on the side of caution and make sure that the type of attention you're calling to yourself is the good kind.

Virgo Rising: Wednesday & Thursday

Virgos don't do very well with winning 2nd place, and so these Wednesday and Thursday transits can pose some challenges for you. With that in mind, it's important to focus on just how much this competitive episode might've polished your skills. With Mercury entering Pisces, it may even be a good idea to reach out to this competitor and learn from them firsthand how you can further enhance your abilities.

Libra Rising: Friday & Saturday

Friday's transit, while veering on the excessive, can be rather interesting for you. The only real warning is to watch out if you're leaning on these festivities to attract someone's attention. You may feel like you can only muster the confidence needed to secure the strength of a partnership through these flashy displays and grand efforts, but the transit on Saturday might show you that while effort is needed, a slow approach is probably the way to go.

Scorpio Rising: Tuesday

Mars getting ready to move forward poses a great change in pace for you. The last few months or so might've been difficult, but this marks a point when things begin to make a little more sense. The other piece of good news is that this week, planets begin to transit an area of your chart that deals with fun, sex, and pleasure, which should be quite the reward for everything you've been through recently.

Sagittarius Rising: Thursday

The transit on Thursday targets the area of your chart that's closely related to your workplace—and, more often than not, your bosses. This could be a week where you feel as though your superiors are hiding something. Still, the transits seem to suggest that the reason they're hiding information—or sounding as if they don't know what they're talking about—is that, in fact, they have no idea what's going on either. Give them some time, and things should get clearer as time moves on.

Capricorn Rising: Saturday

Saturn entering new territory should be rather exciting for you. While this isn't necessarily the biggest and most dramatic change of pace, the weeks ahead promise to show you new angles on the issues you've been wrestling with. Think of this week as the beginning of a series of events that will make the seemingly disconnected events of 2024 not only make sense but also show you the way out of the maze you're currently in.

Aquarius Rising: Saturday & Sunday

Now that planets are getting ready to move out of your sign, the focus will swiftly shift somewhere else. This can be great for a low-key Aquarius. But considering this transition period is presenting itself to you, it's wise to use this weekend to clear the space for the new things to come and to gather your tools for the work ahead. The focus might not be on you anymore, but that certainly won't be for long.

Pisces Rising: Thursday & Saturday

This week might not be the best time to get the answers to your problems, especially considering the transits on Thursday. Still, that's really just a minor bump in the road. Jupiter, your planetary representative, is slowly but surely picking up speed throughout the month, and now that Mercury is entering your own sign, you can rest assured that these answers will make their way to you. Your task is just to find out what the right questions to ask are. As Saturn gets ready to move out of your sign, these questions will become more easily definable sooner rather than later.
